CSI is a family-run business established in 1965 by the late Karl Hattam. The company is now led by his son, Garry, who began working with his father in 1980. Next in line to carry on the CSI legacy is Garry’s son, Dan. We are proud to have more than five decades of experience in high-end residential and commercial build-outs, remodeling and renovations. From the initial walk-though of your property to ongoing service work after your project is completed, we provide the best in construction management and general contracting.

Quality is at the core of our business philosophy, from materials and workmanship to customer service – and it shows. Starting with our first project in 1965, all of our clients have come to us through referrals. Since then, we have completed a wide range of luxury projects located principally on Chicago’s Gold Coast and along the lake shore, to vacation homes in Michigan’s nearby Harbor Country. Our projects range from single-family homes, condos and apartments to penthouses, second residences and professional office space.
