I recently bought a condo in Chicago that had been used for many years as a rental by the previous owner. The location was ideal and the all-brick structure was solid, but the interior was badly outdated. CSI worked with my schedule to bring my new home into the 21st century. This wasn't a big job compared to CSI's portfolio, but I didn't feel less important - they listened to my concerns, answered my questions and stayed on budget. CSI exceeded my expectations... and more!

CSI has done two major residential renovations as well as several small jobs for me over the past seven years and I will definitely use the company again should the chance present itself. The work is first class, the employees are competent, respectful, friendly and work well with the subs. The owner sets that tone and a high standard. As well, he listens, is present and works to overcome any obstacles he can for positive outcomes in favor of the clients' desires or needs. I highly recommend him and his company!

In the past fifty years, I have contracted to have three houses built and two major renovations. The experiences have ranged from one near disaster to the most recent major renovation. Without question, the recent renovation was the best experience. All of the workmen were outstanding in every way: excellent work, considerate, timely, orderly and most capable. Each one took pride in his work making the final result unequaled. Garry Hattam was very organized. He checked in on a daily basis to see that all of the work was done with precision and care. I highly recommend his company for any job that needs to be done.

We contracted with Carpentry Services of Illinois to completely renovate the 6,000 square foot home we purchased near Chicago's lakefront. The work was excellent, finished on time and completed within budget. Both Karl and Garry Hattam were easy to work with, added many helpful suggestions to improve the project, and worked extremely well with our architect.
